The weather is starting to get warmer and it is getting me so excited for summer. I just enjoy my life more in the summertime. The days are longer, I get to spend more time outside after work and life is just all-around better. People just seem to be in a better mood in summer. What’s got me writing this summer appreciation blog, I hear you ask? The answer is yesterday morning.
I was driving along the beach which is close to Underwood and the sun was hitting my arm in the perfect position through the driver’s window. It warmed up my whole body and even inspired me to mentally thank the local professional mechanic in Underwood. If it wasn’t for my mechanic, I wouldn’t get the opportunity to do this. I’d have to walk along the beach, which is awesome, obviously, but it’s not what I’m appreciating right now. I’m appreciative of the summer drives made possible by my mechanic.
I feel like anyone in Underwood, or anyone who lives by the beach in Australia will understand just how good it is to drive on a summer’s day. Around spring, my friends and I all get really excited about getting our cars serviced because that means we’re getting closer to the warmer weather. This spring I actually got a car battery replacement. Near me in Underwood, the terrain can be pretty tough on our cars. It makes our cars work harder than they probably should, which makes the battery weak over time.
Look, I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure of the specifics. All I know is that my car needs a service every year to make sure that I can drive along the beach for months with my friends. It’s a means to an end and the end is so worth it to me. Today was our first drive of summer and I can’t wait for many, many more.
