You know that rant I posted about three hours ago talking about how everyone had to get a car service but it was impossible to book in? Well, I got IN! I was on this site that showed you when available bookings came up with a mechanic. It was an absolute scramble and for days I’d been going on this site trying to get an appointment. I couldn’t believe it when I heard the ‘ping’ that said that I could book a last-minute appointment.
Someone had cancelled their diesel tuning service in the Toowoomba area, which meant I could take their spot! Because I live in Toowoomba I got first preference. I’m seriously so shocked. I literally just got back from my appointment with the mechanic and I’ve returned to my desk to begin working again. I can’t believe it.
After having nightmares about when I’d finally be able to get my car serviced for two weeks straight, I can’t believe that I’ve finally done it. Part of me is worried that I’m still dreaming and because I finally got a good outcome it’s not real. When I went to sleep last night I had no idea that I’d be getting my car serviced the next day. I’m not religious but this is seriously a miracle. I am the happiest I’ve been in a long time.
It’s awesome to think that I don’t have to go through the stress of trying to get professional mechanics local to Toowoomba to check out my car anymore. I think this will mean I’ll stop having really stressful nightmares about not being able to get my car serviced before the deadline. I’m really looking forward to having a peaceful, restful sleep. It’s also really nice to know that my car is safe and I’m protected from the dangers of the outside world.
